Staff Spotlight ~ Victoria Villegas
Staff Spotlight: Victoria Villegas
Meet Victoria Villegas, a dedicated 5th-grade teacher at Toddy Thomas Middle School who is known for her easy-going demeanor and student-first mindset. With 13 years of experience in upper elementary and middle school education—four of those in the Fortuna Unified School District—Victoria has become a valued member of the Toddy Thomas community.
Victoria’s teaching journey has included grades 5 through 8, and she even spends her summers teaching younger students in 2nd grade. What she loves most about her work is the daily interaction with her students, discovering their interests and talents, and learning something new from them in return.
A fun twist to her story: Victoria currently teaches 5th grade in the very same school where she was once a 5th-grade student. This full-circle moment highlights her strong connection to the school and underscores her commitment to giving back to a community that helped shape her.
Easy-going, flexible, and always putting students first, Victoria embodies the values of our school and district. We’re thrilled to have her at Toddy Thomas, where her positive attitude and dedication continue to make a difference.
