Staff Spotlight ~ Lori Coppini

Staff Spotlight: Lori Coppini
This month’s Staff Spotlight shines on Lori Coppini, the dedicated and cheerful custodian at Toddy Thomas Middle School. Lori brings positivity and pride to her work every single day, and her contributions to the school do not go unnoticed.
Her principal, Kent Chapman, says it best: “Lori always has a smile on her face and is always ready to help out and go above and beyond! Our school looks great thanks to her nighttime help.” Whether it’s preparing classrooms, keeping hallways spotless, or stepping in wherever needed, Lori plays a vital role in making Toddy Thomas a welcoming and well-cared-for place.
Lori has worked for the Fortuna Elementary School District for 8 years. Before joining the district, she spent two decades teaching preschool at the Scotia Childcare Center. Though her role has changed, her heart for students and schools has remained the same.
When asked what she enjoys most about her work, Lori shared: “I love to clean and make the classroom and school look nice for the students and staff.” Her attention to detail and pride in her work help create a clean and comfortable learning environment for all.
A fun fact about Lori: She attended Scotia Elementary School as a child! She also enjoys baking, spending time with her family, and getting outside for some yard work—a hobby that shows in the care she brings to both her job and home.
Thank you, Lori, for your dependable work, positive attitude, and the pride you take in making Toddy Thomas shine!
